LE04: Hawthorne on Saddle Tor, Dartmoor
I love Dartmoor on gloomy days. The windswept hawthorn trees and granite boulders that litter the high ground are icons of this rugged landscape. When the skies are heavy with dark clouds and the winds are blowing strong, you can become overwhelmed with a sense of wilderness and isolation. I tried to capture some of that feeling in this shot taken on Saddle Tor.
